Splash guard for milkshake & bar mixer
Print Profile(1)

Description
This splash guard is designed for the Jura "Drink Master", type 222 A1. Kenwood sold the same mixer in red under the name SD101. Hamilton sold a nearly-identical model in silver as "Beach Pro All-Metal Drink Mixer", art. no. 65120. Alas, these devices have all been discontinued. Their steel cups have an upper diameter of 100mm (measured at Jura mixer; I assume it's the same for the other two). They are great for making McDonald's-style milkshakes — simply fill with slightly soft, spoonable ice cream (strawberry, vanilla) and milk at a volume ratio of about 2:1 and turn on until the shake is ready. However, if you don't angle the head carefully while making a milkshake, clumps of ice cream can get accelerated, creating a mess by throwing out milk. This splash guard can prevent that. For ease of use, it should be printed using a soft, flexible filament, such as TPU95A, rather than a rigid filament, such as PLA or PETG.
