Description
Mermaid tail adornment for your Airpods*.
A few important notes from my testing so far for the final version (after so many failed attempts):
- They slip on easily and hold tightly
- They are so light that there is no noticeable change in balance or feeling of fit in my ears as far as I can tell
- I tested the microphone and didn't notice any significant changes in the microphone sound quality
- ***BE Careful when removing from the build plate. if you grab the end of the tail and bend it off the plate, it may break. Suggest flexing the plate or scraping to release the edge before pulling too hard
- The mermaid scales look amazing in silk filaments
- …but try them in all colors because they print fast and don't use that much material
Pictured filaments are Bambu Pink Silk PLA, Elegoo Sky Blue PLA , and Sunlu Copper Silk PLA
*Tested so far with Airpods Pro 2 but looking for testers for other Airpod models and I can customize to fit if needed
