I am pleased to share the articulated horse, a model based on the lovely “practise horse” made by Carola Funder.
This horse has a total of 14 joints and prints in place without using supports. With the complex shape of the first layer, this model requires good control of bed adhesion. The model can be scaled up, but do not recommend printing it smaller.
The print profile provided is 0.2mm layer height optimal for multicolour prints.
However, this model looks great in single colour and I would suggest adding some acrylic paint instead of printing the multicolour version.
The joints are relatively loose, and it is therefore a challenge to make the horse stand but more fun to play with.
If you like this horse, please have a look at Carola Funders other work here!
