Description

More power, less wear, better throttle response and no more gearbox noise or heat!

Use this motor mount to upgrade your E-flite UMX 4-Site to brushless power!

Designed to fit 1202.5/ 1202 plus brushless motors, this part can be glued in place of the stock motor and gearbox housing. Using M2 screws, the motor itself can be fixed to the mount.

If you want to keep the planes original propeller and spinner, gently unscrew them from the original gearbox shaft, widen the hole using a 1.5mm drill bit and friction fit them on the 1.5mm brushless shaft.

A 6000KV motor spinning the stock prop will pretty much match the stock power, however it won't drop as much towards the end of the flight as its brushed counterpart. Using a 205mah 1S LiPo and a 1S 3-4 amp brusless ESC, this setup will give you about 5 minutes of 3D flight.

The 6400KV variety will work too, however providing slightly more power and less flight time.

To install a brushless ESC in the stock receiver, refer to the manual of the Spektrum AR6400l receiver, or use a micro receiver with build- in brushless esc.
