Description

I use a laptop for my primary computer at home when doing models and my 3D printing.

Also at work I have my own desk with my work laptop and a keyboard that is slightly bigger than the one I use at home.

I designed this laptop stand for myself to organize my home and work desk better.

I'm sure if you have seen any of my previous models you'll notice that the pictures I take are on my desk in front of my laptop.

Usually I have to put my keyboard under my desk which is kinda a hassle depending on what I have stored under my desk at the momenet.

The same goes for my work desk, when someone brings me something that I have to put on my desk it's a real hassle to move my wired keyboard out of the way to make space on my desk.

At home I have a single lifted monitor and my laptop to keep me from looking down when working, the same goes for work but I have two monitors and my laptop.

I designed this to elevate my laptop and give me somewhere to put my keyboard when I need space in front of me real quick.

It is so much more convenient.

It's not perfect by any means but it does what it was made to do and is simple enough to print.

Hope someone else finds this stand useful and can put the model to work.

Enjoy and Happy Printing!

Amazing. Took A LOT of effort to get it together but it works really well. And good idea about the keyboard holder!

How did you get it together? I'm guessing my issue is strength due to carpal tunnel. May have to wait until my boyfriend gets here this weekend.

You have to print all the parts obviously, but I think the two parts that actually keep it together on the left and right are different to each other. It does take a lot of effort to go in, but once you have done it it easier because its been in. The part that holds the two together (long bit in the middle has hole thingys and they clip in Its just the fact its hard at first but it does work

Functions well but rather flimsy I doubled the height of the cross piece and it’s much better It’s more rigid therefore greatly stabilizing the support

A convenient stand, it looks great in black! I like the space at the bottom for all my little things) But you need to stick non-slip stickers if your table is smooth. Thank you for the project, I assembled it very easily without any difficulties that independent and strong girls wrote about here) Good luck everyone!
