Description
Crystal Skull – LED Lamp
This model was inspired by the Crystal Alien Skull from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I created my own interpretation of this mysterious relic as a decorative skull that transforms into a unique lamp when combined with a small LED light.
When printed in translucent filaments the effect is very interesting, the light diffuses beautifully through the structure, giving the skull a mystical glow.
The skull is optimized for Mini Waterproof RGB LED Tea Lights from Maker's Supply. However, in the print profile, the hole for the LED is in the form of a negative object so you can change its diameter and adapt to different types of lighting
With recommended led lights you can switch between colors and moods – from eerie green to mysterious purple, or deep cosmic blue.
👉 Perfect for:
a unique night lamp,
a spooky shelf display,
Halloween decorations,
a gift for Indiana Jones or sci-fi fans.
I’ve tested it in multiple colors and lighting setups – every variation creates a completely different atmosphere.
Print Profiles
There are two versions of the skull in the print profile. One with an internal structure that scatters light.
The second version is full, but with my print settings it can be printed as an empty skull.
You can have some fun with this form and, for example, put a piece of foil inside, which will give an additional interesting effect.
Both versions can also be painted from the inside, creating an interesting play of colors.
Example of green foil and hollow version.
