Description

Just a little model I made as an anniversery gift for my fiance. We keep it outside by our garden now and at night the solar powered light at the top spins and give our house some liveliness!

I love this! Thank you for the files. my sister in law loves lighthouses and we took a family trip to see the lighthouses in the outer banks and the Cape Hatteras lighthouse was her favorite. I made this for her birthday out of PLA as she will display it inside her home. thanks again.

Great model but I wish the black part of the tower came painted in the 3mf file. One other issue I had was that some of the connection holes weren't deep enough for the pegs so I had to drill them out. It came out fine in the end. I had a friend make the railing to add that final missing touch.

You could try doing a yeggi search for a generic railing and scaling it. When I have the time Ill see what I can do about modeling one up for the light peice! Im glad you like it, thank you!

Yes! This model is very similar to the one in St Augustine, Florida my favorite city in the world!

I first saw Cape Hatteras when I was 5 in the early 70s. Climbed it in 2017 in July and about died from heat! Love this model! can't wait to print it! I've done a LOT of kayaking and camping at Cape Lookout if you ever get the itch to make that one! :)

First, let me congratulate you on this model. The proportions are very good. I spend most of my life now in and near Buxton so I'd know. Is there a reason why the four plates of the truncated cone are so heavy? Can you create files that are lighter please. Otherwise, an outstanding file.
