This is a molecular model of serine, created using molfidget. Serine is a non-essential amino acid that is important for many biological processes. It is involved in the synthesis of proteins, enzymes, and cell membranes. Serine also plays a key role in the production of other amino acids and compounds like phospholipids, and it supports nervous system function through the synthesis of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine precursors.

 

In this model, all single bonds are rotatable. Some carbon atoms are pre-connected, and you can complete the assembly by manually attaching the remaining atoms.
