This model is easy to print and assemble, though it does require a DC motor from the Maker's Beginner Kit, or from Maker's Supply (part LA024), or another comparable small DC motor as well as 4 AAA batteries. This is a great beginner project for young printers, makers, and robot-designers alike!
See the attached assembly instructions for more detail on printing and assembling all parts. The included ZIP (originally from Bambu Lab store site) also has the files for the printable PLA parts of the battery case and gearbox.
Note that the model is not submersible or completely water-tight, so do not use it as a submarine! Warn those kiddos….
