Description

Embedded Raptor Claw

Designed to look like a fossilized claw embedded in rock, it’s the perfect blend of realism and printability for dinosaur fans, educators, and collectors alike.

I printed many iterations and found the low layer height and lower speed to be the best option for painting afterword's. Feel free to scale it up!  The model shown is 33mm x 70mm x 78mm and takes roughly 2 hours to print due to the layer height and speed, trust me its worth it. The painted model now sits on my wife's witchy shelf as a décor item and she loves it!

I cant paint as you can see from the pictures, this is actually my first model painted and hey, it didn't come out to bad right! Imagine if you have a shred of skill this would look awesome!

This image was partially created by Bambu Labs image to 3D AI. While cool.. this does not take away from the amount of work that had to be done afterword's to process this into a functional print. There were quite a few iterations like I said, before it became suitable for a desk or shelf piece. Credit below.

Also credit to the user PhantomForge on thepf.com who sculped this piece out of concrete. Check him out on this thread and give him some credit. I thought it would be cool to have a printable version of this design! https://www.therpf.com/forums/threads/jurassic-park%E2%80%93-alan-grants-raptor-claw-fossil.269947/page-2

From The Creator

Thanks so much for checking this out! It was a fun design for me to attempt to use the Bambu Lab AI, I didn't realize how much work went into it after the fact! I appreciate all the support everyone's has given has this is only my third upload but I promise to keep improving and making use of the tools around me. Any advice is appreciated!
