Description

This wedge is an absolute must if you are using the 72v 28ah battery from HotPaxx. The battery naturally is not a great fit in these bikes without modification. I, like many others was using foam and ratchet straps to contain the battery and keep it from damaging the shock as it sits extremely close. With this wedge it will give you shock clearance as well as clearance for a controller. Personally I have the FD72450 and it clears just fine. I did mount the battery into this wedge in tandum with some Velcro battery straps that I got from Curbhopper Customs, but amazon or anywhere else is fine.

DISCLAIMER: You will have to modify the existing battery compartment in a small way for fitment. The front of the battery tray (closest to the neck of the frame) has to be hammered or bent flat.
