Description

Summary

I'm not sure what all vehicles use this same firewall grommet, but it was made for my fwd SR20 Nissan's as they all use the same one. So I deleted the A/C in my Sentra/NX2000 and pulled the high and low pressure lines. I then pulled the exchanger out of the box under the dash leaving empty holes where the lines passed through the firewall. Instead of trying to hunt down the OEM grommets from a non-A/C equipped model I decided to just print my own plugs to pop in the grommet already on the car.

This is version one, I may work on another down the road, but this works for now.

Ideally I'd print these in TPU with a 35ish % infill so its stiff enough to stay in place and have better heat resistance from engine bay heat. However, I didn't feel like swapping out the PETG that was in my printer so I used that with good results. PLA may work ok, but it may soften up from the engine heat.
