Description
I designed a 3D-printed hose attachment that transforms community garden watering into a charming and efficient activity. Designed to resemble a cute, bug-like creature, this attachment features whimsical legs through which the water flows. As the hose is connected, water streams out from the bug’s legs, distributing it evenly across multiple rows or areas of grass in the community. This playful design not only adds a touch of enchantment to community green spaces but also ensures effective and widespread irrigation. Perfect for a volunteer to use to help out the city!
Install and Information:
- This hose attachment is for a standard garden hose that has ~ 1.05 inch external thread diameter
- The threads will be extremely tight when installing on the hose to prevent water leakage. You may only be able to turn it on a few threads and that is fine low flow hoses
- Since this has water with pressure flowing through it is recommended to at least print with 5 walls and 30% infill
- Attachment should be printed at high quality lay heights of 0.16 mm or 0.2 mm
- It is recommended to gradually turn on your hose after install and not go full blast
