Description
đ§ Open Source Project: Torque Wrench with Side Adjustment
I present an innovative solution for those who frequently damage screws due to excessive force: a torque wrench that increases its resistance as the side screws are tightened. Ideal for modeling, mechanics and DIY enthusiasts who seek greater control and precision when tightening screws.
đ ď¸ What you need:
2 steel balls (6.30 mm in diameter)
2 springs with a length between 15 mm and 30 mm (preferably hard)
2 M4x20 mm screws without heads
âď¸ How it works:
This design was originally developed for MIP wrenches, but can be adapted to other brands. As the side screws are tightened, the pressure on the balls increases, providing greater resistance to the applied torque. This helps prevent damage to the screws and ensures a more controlled tightening.

Personal use: This project is intended for non-commercial use only.
Adaptation: Feel free to remix and adapt the design to your needs.
