Description

I wanted a way to attach a fear tracker to my Daggerheart GM screen. I decided to go with an abacus design using some glass beads that I already had. For the rod, I used a spare US 7 (4.5mm) sized aluminum knitting needle cut down to 10.5 inches. To complete the abacus and attach it to my GM screen, I cobbled together this simple rod holder that is meant to slide over the top of the GM screen.

I have included both a version with the Daggerheart logo on both sides of the model, and a version without any logos.

You could use any wooden dowel or metal rod that is 4.5mm or smaller, but the hole in my model was designed for a 4.5mm rod. The beads I am using have a 5mm hole through them. You can find ones you like at any craft store in the jewelry making section, or online at places like Amazon.

Below are the items that I used. You can probably find cheaper alternatives, but I already had these on hand, so these are what I used.

Her are the glass beads that I used.

Here is the knitting needle that I used as well.
