Description
Inspiration
In "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," Cao Cao's assassination attempt on Dong Zhuo failed, but his clever presentation of the sword allowed him to escape unscathed, showcasing his courage and quick wit. The sword played a significant role in his safe retreat. Legend says this sword, the Seven Star Sword, was rumored to be adorned with seven treasures: gold, silver, glass, amber, conch, and crystal, symbolizing the Big Dipper. The original text describes it as“inlaid with seven treasures, exceptionally sharp,”highlighting both its artistic merit and practical use. Thus,it's no wonder Dong Zhuo believed Cao Cao's ruse—the sword was a truly stunning piece.
Structure and Detail Design

Blade: Features a black dragon; after repeated testing, the scale texture prints clearly. The blade also features seven cubes linked together, representing the stars of the Big Dipper. These can be printed using glow-in-the-dark material. To meet the competition deadline, I used standard material. If any enthusiast makes improvements, please share the beautiful photos in the comments!

Hilt: Ergonomic design for a comfortable grip, with textured printing to increase friction, preventing slippage. A small hole at the end allows for hanging or attaching tassels.

Stand: Features a vintage design with an inscription of Cao Cao's famous words“I would rather wrong others than be wronged myself,”showcasing the sword's inherent overlord demeanor.

Assembly Instructions

In ancient times, people hung “peach wood swords” at their bedsides to ward off evil spirits. If you use glow-in-the-dark material and add tassels, hanging it at your bedside under the Big Dipper makes for a meaningful symbol.
