Description

3D printed inertia reel, for example, for the aces ii ejection seat from invictus cockpit systems. Only the black part on the first picture. 

 

 

May also fit other simulator seats. Never tried so its on your own. 

 

You need some screws, rods and a drill press returning spring. 

 

2x M3x25

2x M3 self locking nut

1x aluminium pipe 8mm outer diameter, 126mm lenght (cut a slot on 1 side for the return spring, 32mm deepth and drill 2 holes for the m3 screws) 

2x 4mm rods, 66mm lenght

1x 4mm rod, 17mm lenght

1x 6mm rod, 90mm lenght

1x 6mm rod, 60mm lenght

1x return spring power drill 680mm, 35x6x0,7mm

 

you can block the movement if you want, just add a rod to a mechanism, on aces ii its harness lock / release.
