Yale Keyless Connected - Battery Cover

Here I have modelled the Yale Keyless Connected battery cover, from scratch. So that I could print it in a more subtle colour for use on my Brown door.

The profiles include a plate containing the DoorSense cover which you can attach with some double-sided tape or a dab of superglue.

I chose to print the battery cover on its side so that the face of the plate is not textured and the transition to the curves is the smoothest possible, however this does require the use of supports. Fit and functionality of the clips, is dependant on how cleanly the supports can be removed from the upper part of the print. If your print doesn't secure nicely on the battery box at first, please try carefully cleaning up the clip that was suspended by supports.

This is a custom-designed battery cover for, and inspired by, the Yale Keyless Connected lock. The text featured in the model is styled in a font resembling Yale's branding but is not an official Yale logo. This model is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Yale.
