Description

Model Features

EDIT: The new 3mf , atleast the print profile one doesn't have 2 objects, i found most were not using the 45° angled one , so now its only got a flat one, you can change the texture your prints get by changing the build plate. So a smooth pei plate or such will give it a smooth back and so on.

Dual-Object Profile: This 3MF contains two optimized objects—one laid flat for a “fuzzy skin” grip texture on the divets for fingers, and one rotated at 45° for enhanced corner and port detail with fully generated supports.
Full-Cover Flexibility: Designed to snugly wrap your S23 Plus, featuring integrated divots for finger grips and precisely located cut-outs for mic, speaker, and charging port.

Magsafe Capability : This cover has a slot for a magsafe ring to be placed.You can buy a thin magsafe ring (only the magnets), and stick it in that slot and it will function like any magsafe phone and will work well with magsafe accessories. 

Printing Objects

  1. Flat Skin Object
    • Prints directly on the build plate for maximum grip surface. Ideal when you want that soft “fuzzy” TPU texture without deflection.
  2. 45° Angled Object
    • Rotated to 45° to balance overhangs and fine detail, but requires robust supports. This orientation improves feature accuracy at the cost of more cleanup.

3D Printing Notes

Filament Dryness: TPU is hygroscopic—moisture will cause stringing and poor layer adhesion. Keep your spool in a dry box or filament dryer, and print immediately after loading. 
Speed: TPU must be printed slowly. Bambu Lab’s Silent Mode (~50% of full speed) is recommended: it reduces backpressure and extruder stress. Printing faster leads to material jams or quality loss. 
Night Prints: Start your job before bedtime. At slow speeds (silent mode), a test-run often finishes only by morning—giving you time to inspect for first-layer adhesion and stringing.

Support & Infill Settings

Supports: Use “Support on Build Plate Only” with a Grid interface pattern at ~30 % density. Set Top/Bottom Z-Distance to 0.2–0.3 mm to prevent TPU from fusing to its supports. 
Infill: 100 % solid—ensures uniform flexibility and strength across the case. Pair with a Lines or Concentric pattern to reduce overlapping travel moves and minimize backpressure.

Pro Tips

  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm balances detail and print time.
  • Retraction: 2–3 mm at 10–20 mm/s; enable “Wipe Before Retract” to clean the nozzle and reduce stringing.
  • Cooling: Fan at 50 % for better bridging and overhangs, but if you see warping, dial back to 30 %.
  • Build Plate Prep: A textured PEI sheet prevents TPU from lifting while still allowing easy removal.

fits very well, buttons are easy to press and looks good overall. Looks to be resistant to impacts, better than nothing. The spot for the flash has been printed over but I think it was a design choice considering the small thickness a the spot. Kinda of droopy in some places with overhang, but is most likely due to my moist TPU

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Yes its because of tpu, we have to take care of overhangs and add support , even if it would have been fine with normal pla. Hope you have good luck.

the print profile has supports enabled for the case laying flat because the 45 degree case needs them. this diminishes the quality and adds post processing. would benefit from 2 profiles, 1 for each orientation.

Thanks for your feedback, unfortunately , the lying flat case also needs small supports, for the edge , the notch that holds the phone. I tried to think of a better orientation , but couldn't find any good ones. If you have some good idea, please do comment here. And you can also choose between the 45 and flat option, so try both of them and see which one works for you.
