One of the first things that I designed when I started 3D printing was table leg braces for my Ikea table to help stop the shaking. I revisited the file to make a 50mm version and immediately saw places I needed to improve the design. While I am proud of that original design, it was big and bulky and quite frankly over the top.
So, I present my slim, print in place, no hardware necessary (just double sided tape..) table leg brace. I was able to reduce the filament usage by 50% and retain the layer orientation that provides it's strength. I also have 40 mm and 50 mm verisons. As well as a little bit shorter version for the A1 mini.
It really is as simple and stick some tape on the pads, snap it around the table leg and push it up to attach the tape.
I have tested the “hinge” and it took a lot of bending and twisting to get it to break. So unless you plan on taking it on and off and using it as a hammer.. you should be good 👍🏼
If you found this model useful or fun to print and feel like supporting my work, you can buy me a coffee here:

The coffee helps keep me awake long enough to design more stuff like this.
While you’re here, feel free to check out my other models too. No pressure — but every bit helps.
