2025.3.22 Update: Drew a matching IKEA pegboard style anti-jump tank baffle, available here: https://makerworld.com.cn/zh/models/1056762-20fang-gang-20cmyu-gang-fang-tiao-gang-dang-ban-yi#profileId-1094247

Thanks to Bilibili content creator @阿秦Aqin for their creation and sharing. Details about this back filter can be found in the content creator's video on Bilibili: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1azQGYxEi3/

Since the original content creator only provided STL files via cloud drive, bringing them here is to facilitate direct printing for everyone. There are also some assembly tips later to help you avoid pitfalls.

The models are already pre-plated, with supports added, and the decorative strips are multicolored, so everyone can print directly.

And some issues with the original model have been fixed:

  1. The main body's original model had non-manifold edges, which have been fixed (plate 1)
  2. The original water baffle adjustment board was too loose after installation and couldn't function as an adjuster. I redrew and replaced it, and it tested perfectly (plate 3)

Additionally,

  1. Added a tray (plate 10) to facilitate tank flipping
  2. Added a water pump compartment test piece (plate 11). It is strongly recommended to print this test piece before printing the main body to test the water pump you have. See below for specific pump details
  3. Added a matching anti-jump tank baffle, see here

The main issues encountered during assembly were related to the water pump section.

The dimensions reserved for the water pump compartment in this model are extremely tight, so you basically need to buy the exact water pump used by the content creator. The content creator didn't provide a specific link, but I found one that perfectly matches based on its appearance: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=746034274676 Be sure to buy the 3W one, no need for water pipes

Currently, I've only found this pump in 220V, and haven't seen low-voltage 5V or 12V versions. If anyone can find a 5V or 12V pump with the same dimensions, please let me know in the comments.

Once you get this pump, you need to remove the mesh cover side, then also remove the flow control valve, and replace it with the printed pump cover (plate 2). Additionally, during installation, you'll need to pull out the protruding nozzle at the pump's outlet.

The pump will ultimately have the following three unused parts:

Then, when assembling onto the main body, there was still some gap between the main body I printed and the water pump's outlet. After placing it in water, I found that water was still leaking out from the pump compartment, making the water flow there quite chaotic.

My solution was to wrap two layers of clear tape around the protruding cylinder on the main body, then insert the pump, and the outlet basically stopped leaking.

This involves printing tolerances, so everyone's situation might differ. It is strongly recommended to test it in a basin after assembly, as these types of problems are hard to detect once it's in the tank.

Hoop installation: it's glued on, and the grooved side should face the main body of the back filter.

Many people report that the upper inlet leaks water. Generally, three reasons can cause this situation. Please check them one by one:
1. There is a gap between the pump outlet and the printed part. You can seal it by wrapping some PTFE tape or other tape
2. When disassembling the pump, there are two covers; the inner one must be kept, otherwise the upper inlet and upper outlet will share the same water path
3. The printed part itself might have leaks due to printing quality issues. You can block one hole and test with water
