Alien Egg

Somewhat reminiscent of the face-sucker eggs in the Alien movies, this egg chamber opens up to reveal either your most cherished treasure – or your worst nightmare.

Printing & Assembly

First note that there is a thin support ring shown in red below that needs to be removed before assembly:

Then make sure that the area under the lip (where you just removed the support) is smooth and free of any loose filament strands. This is very important as the egg won't operate if there are rough spots. (It usually takes a but of wiggling around to first get it to close, but after a few open/close cycles, it will smooth out.)
