Description

I present a kazoo with an unusual shape :)

It has a membrane in its tail and sounds like a usual kazoo.

You can print it with colors like in print profile or color it as you wish in the Bambu Studio or after print.

After printing, find a thin piece of foil, place it on the tail and screw it. Do not tighten completely. The foil should have some space to vibrate. I use foil from thin disposable bags.

While playing, you can try tightening and unscrewing the cap to fine-tune the instrument

Have Fun :)

I loved this so much! It came out perfect and was easy to print. I did use "Press N Seal" by Gald for the membrane, the pitch was perfect. Thank you for creating this adorable Gecko Kazoo.

Great print. Still struggle to get a sound... well, seems to be I am stupid. :) (How to play - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMlYQ33gWQ8) Pictures show how much waste compared the print out - if you go for multicolor

Everything I hoped it would be and more. Very nice model, easy to print. Some tinkering is needed to get it to make the right sound. Aluminum foil makes an extra sharp and annoying sound, but is easily punctured by accident. Went with thicker plastic foil in the end.

These little fellas are very paintable! The 1/2 brain cell expression gives it extra damage points. I also found the ideal membrane - simply stick the small ring on a piece of thin scotch tape, make sure there are no wrinkles on the tape inside the ring, cut excess tape around the outer part of the ring, put the ring in the hole sticky side down, and finally apply the screw.

looks amazing in red with blue tongue! 7 y/o son very happy. used plastic backed foil from a coffee pack to good effect (looks a bit scary with supports!)- my first AMS lite print! (p.s. would have been cool to match the screw colour to the tongue but no biggie)

the sheer delight on my 6yo's face was worth it. very good quality sculpture and fit of the threads was perfect. not sure what the ring was for but I used it to trace the size on the wax paper and as a washer to keep the threaded ring from twisting the paper as it tightened down

The part is really annoying. I printed it as a gift for a child and apologized directly to the parents 🫣 Once you get the hang of it, you can hardly stop making music with it. It's really fun. I used a piece of freezer bag as the film
