A1 Mini TPU 95A Vibration Noise Reducing Feet

IMPORTANT NOTE: Use ONLY Overture 95A TPU. This model was designed using that, and other filaments' shore hardness varies too much giving poor results.


In my quest to quiet down my A1 Mini I tried numerous feet with varying success, and then I spent far too much time and filament designing my own.

Features:

• Super easy to install and adjust in a second or two - just put them roughly in place and wiggle it around a bit and it will settle in to the correct location
• Each foot is clearly labelled with “RF” for Right-Front, “RR” for Right-Rear etc.
• The top surface looks terrible, but this is due to the design choice of keeping a more flexible top layer
• Each foot is specifically designed to handle the differing weights at each corner
• Designed to isolate vibrations while not introducing much wobble to the printer
• Uses 95A TPU (I used Overture brand) and is an easy print (TPU is surprisingly easy to print on the A1 Mini!)
• Varied infill and shape with the intent of isolating different frequency vibrations
• Did I mention the frustration-free installation?

I printed with Overture 95A TPU using the “Generic TPU” preset, and I like a layer of glue to aid in releasing the prints (don't forget to wash the glue off of the part!).

Note: Different TPU brands have varying stiffness, and until I can test with more brands there is risk of the feet being too firm or too soft which messes with the balance. I plan to do some more development to try to alleviate this.

Update 2025-05-01: Beefed up the Right Rear foot to get rid of the lean with a full spool. If you previously printed the old version, no need to print all 4. Only the Right Rear was changed.
