Description

Bowl sculpture that looks like a hippo. Pictures are showing the A1 mini prints. Included a profile for bigger plates but I cant print it.

small hippo LxWxH: 20x10x15 cm

multipart hippo LxWxH: 30x15x23 cm

Disclaimer: On the bowl of the multipart print the nozzle kept grinding over the the print and I am not quite sure why. I suspect it might be because of grid infill so i swapped it for gyroid.

Support Issue Unfortunately the top teeth did not print properly but I used a jet lighter to smooth them off after I trimmed away all the filament and it still looks cool overall.

I enlarged the hypothesis, the print went well except for a small flaw on an upper tooth, but very pretty 😉👌

Definitely need to make sure the top teeth have support. The teeth on mine didn’t print right so I had to make dentures. lol. Filed down the top teeth and glued them on. Next time I print I will also slow it done to make it more smooth. over all it was great. If you’re thinking about this - definitely print it. Super cute!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. The model was supposed to have supports for the teeth but for some reason the hybrid tree supports did not work properly on the medium hippo. I exchanged them for organic tree supports and now the are showing correctly in the slicer. Sorry about that.
