Description

Breakable jar from the Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D version.

Be sure to use support and brim as the print has pointy areas. I used PLA to print the model, I haven't tested any other filament types but those shouldn't cause any problems.

The jar and rupees are handpainted using acrylic paint!

The rupees were used from https://makerworld.com/en/models/539832?from=search#profileId-457190 , Much thanks to this creator!

I used 6x2mm magnets for this build (40x required). The holes have been made a bit bigger to more easily fit the magnets.

Bed Adhesion Issue:I had to add a 5mm brim and additional supports at 40 degrees vs standard to get the bed adhesion to work for 3 of the pieces. This print failed 3 times and I wasted roughly 150g of material. However I got it to finally print. Not sure if there is too much on the plate or splitting it with the supports helped. I cleaned the plate and don't have issues with other prints. They both let go around 2 hours in. X1C with PEI textured plate

I had a similar issue. I'm hoping OP will be able to separate the pieces. It is a fantastic concept and design. Perhaps just a simple overloading the plate.

Hey, sorry to hear that you have wasted so much filament, i will make a new profile that will address these problems!

Printed them as gifts, turned out nicely. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I noticed that there's this rough texture that shows up on the surface of some of the pieces (two corresponding spots shown in the second picture, circled in red), I wonder how I can avoid this. I don't know if it's a printer issue (I have a P1S).

Mmmh normally all the rough sides should be on the inside, I think something went wrong with your print but i cant determine what happend honestly :(.

Yeah not sure, and it's funny how it is the same exact spots on the two pots. Well, since I'm printing a third pot (my little brother saw them and asked for one too 😂), I think I'll change the position of the pieces on the plate and also try printing at 50% speed. if it helps with getting rid of that rough texture, I'll let you know 👍

Came out really well and was fun to build. Just used normal super glue from Woolworths and magnets of Amazon.

I LOVE this. It came out so well. Quality was pretty good directly from the print profile. I deleted the brim and didn't have any problems with adhesion.

Is there a way to print each piece individually? I'm working from the phone app, no computer/studio. I would happily boost if that's an option.
