Seeking a simple yet robust solution for securely fastening a pipe? This minimalist 3D-printed pipe holder uses only 4.02 g of material, yet boasts exceptional stability—even in PLA! It is affixed with a countersunk screw and secures the pipe in place using a cable tie. Thanks to its angled rear, it adheres perfectly to the wall, and the extra-thick construction prevents the pipe from scratching the wall.

The design is also scalable—easily adjust it to accommodate larger or smaller pipes. For enhanced stability, use two holders connected with the same cable tie.

The Genesis of the Idea – From Problem to Perfect Solution

It began with a simple challenge: I wanted to neatly and securely mount my pipes to the wall. However, most of the mounts I found were either too loose, unnecessarily bulky, or simply poorly conceived. So I thought: I can do better!

My first iteration was too thin—stable, but not optimal. The second employed a different fastening method, but was cumbersome to assemble. Only after several trials did the ideal design emerge:

• Fastening with a countersunk screw, ensuring the holder is securely attached to the wall or ceiling.
• Continuous channel for a cable tie to firmly secure the pipe to the holder.
• Extra-thick construction to prevent the pipe from rubbing against the wall.
• Angled rear for a perfect, flush mount.
• Scalable for various pipe diameters, making it suitable for many applications.
• Modular usability – two holders can be combined by connecting them with the same cable tie.

After several tests and refinements, the holder was exactly as I envisioned: simple, stable, and efficient.
