Description

Perimeter LED frame for multiboard.

It was designed for 10mm aRGB strip and fits on 9x9 tiles and it attaches on the snaps used to secure your multiboard on the wall.

You will need to assemble the complete frame and attach the LED strip before securing it on your multiboard which is a bit tricky.

If you need it for a different size multiboard tile let me know and i can customize it for you.

*Update 1: Added frame for 8x8 Tiles

*Update 2: Added frame for 4x4 Tiles

*Update 3: Added frame for 6x6 Tiles

*Update 4: Added frame for 7x7 Tiles

*Update 5: Added frame for 10x10 Tiles

*Update 6: Added frame for 12x12 Tiles

I really love it and so far the best solution out there... the little plates that hold it together do not sit in there super strong but it does the job, you just have to be a bit careful when putting in the LED Strip

Glad you liked it. Thank you. You are right its a bit sensitive but i could not come up with better solution to keep a slim profile. Maybe super glue on one side of the connectors will help. I installed mine and never touched it again :P

A very nice print profile. I printed it with four wall lines, which makes it much more stable. The Govee LED strips fit perfectly. Thank you:)

This is super cool. I just wanted LEDs on the top of a long multiboard, so I remixed the 8x8 part to create an "end" piece that has 2 supports on it. Thanks man!

I have finished my Multiboard light. I need to create a 3x3 grid for 2 pieces to fit with my board. I also tried two options at the corner of the strip. I bought the connector, but it doesn’t fit, so I twisted it. 😅

Uh how do i know which file it is? they all seem to be named similarly. *edit I think i figured out which ones are the right size, but I'm unsure as to what the difference is between the several of that size.

Quick question with my setup all the tiles are 10x10 except the last wow which is 9x10. Would there still be a way to use these?

Yes that should not be a problem. I guess my description is a bit misleading. Just print both the 10x10 and the 9x9 as many pieces as you need and use the appropriate size for each tile side

Looks great, does anyone have some close up photos of how the connectors work though? I am sure its easy but I can't figure it out

Here's what the corner piece should look like. For connecting the other long pieces just use the rectangular connector (shown in blue in the picture)

This is exactly what I am looking for. Thank you! May I ask how you twist or bend the LED strip at the corner? Will it break?

Actually i didn't twist it. i cut is and soldered wires between the two pieces. With my LED strip at least there is not enough space between two LEDs to twist the ribbon.
