Vault of Odin

A Viking inspired safe with a customizable combination. Easy to assemble and all parts print without need for supports. 

Decorative pieces are optional if you prefer a more plain look or wish to decorate in a different style. Parts with a number in the name indicate the number of copies required all other parts only need to be printed one time, only one copy of box, door top, and Lock Gear are required. 

Assembly

1.  Place 4 inner dials on pegs in Door Bottom, dials have writing on the to indicate position (TR Top Right, TL Top Left, BL Bottom Left, BR Bottom Right)
2. Place Lock on track in Door Bottom, it is best to place in the fully open position this will make aligning the Outer Dial easier
3. Place Lock Gear on peg in Door Bottom
4. OPTIONAL insert 8 magnets into Door Top, this will help align the dial as well as give it a more satisfying turning action. Polarity of all magnets should be the same
5. Glue Door Top onto Door Bottom
6. Glue Door Hinges onto Door Top
7. OPTIONAL insert 10 magnets into each Outer Dial, polarity should be such as to attract magnets in Door Top when Outer Dial is placed on Door Top
8. Glue Handle to Door Gear
9. Place 4 Outer Dials onto Inner Dials aligning desired number with arrow on Door Top, depending on printer tolerances you may need a small amount of glue to secure Outer Dial
10. Glue Box Hinges to Box

11. Connect Door to Box using Hinge Pins
