I designed this Modular Magnetic Train to be more than just a refrigerator decoration. While it looks great as a 2D-style pop of color on any metallic surface, its real power lies in gamifying chores and habits for children.

I designed this custom flow baffle to redirect the AC50’s harsh downward output into a smooth, horizontal surface wave. By converting the waterfall into a sweeping surface current, this baffle maximizes surface agitation—which is critical for optimal oxygen exchange and maintaining a healthy gas balance, especially if you are running CO2 in a planted tank.

The stock setup uses a hang-on-the-back filter, which isn’t great aesthetically. On top of that, replacing disposable filter cartridges every month disrupts the nitrogen cycle and gets expensive. The heater is also very visible, which I wanted to avoid.

If you use a CPAP, you’re probably familiar with the recommendation to wash your hose weekly, but drying it can be a real hassle. Even when hanging it upside down, the hose is so coiled that water tends to get trapped inside. I created this adapter so I can connect it to the blower at home and run it for about 10 minutes. After that, the hose is completely dry and clean.
