Created an attachable tag for the A1 Mini Hex Bambu Spool print profile to actually use the stickers that come with the filament.

I wanted a system for spools to be used with multiboard so I built this! I will be looking to add accessories like RFID tag holders and stock level gauges soon.

Do you reuse the Bambu RFID tag on the third-party filament spools? It can help the AMS automatically select colors and profiles.

This model is an add-on to the High Flow Dessicant Holder For Spools made by Dän. I wanted a way to recycle RFID tags from Bambu Labs refills while still using a dessicant container even with respooled filament. This checked both boxes. I hope it will be useful for you.

FilaMan is a filament management system for 3D printing. It uses ESP32 hardware for weight measurement and NFC tag management. Bambu Lab AMS ANYCUBIC CARDBOARD SPOOL ADAPTER Wenn ihr so wie ich dauerhaft Anycubic Rollen in eurer AMS nutzt werdet ihr schnell merken das diese dünnen teile die ihr auf den Papprollen Rand macht sehr schnelldefekt sind. Also dachte ich mir , ich entwerfe etwas stabileres das dauerhaft genutzt werden kann. Zudem könnt ihr eure RFID Chips von den Bambu Lab Rollen zurecht schneiden und in die TAG Holder strecken und wenn ihr wollt mit einem tropfen Kleber einkleben.

Hey everyone! I created a customizable 3D filament tag to help organize and identify filaments. As a colorblind user, it’s tough telling similar colors apart, like PLA Matte vs. PLA Basic. This tag labels filaments clearly and fits securely onto spools, staying in place until the filament is finished. It’s compatible with BambuLab’s AMS and AMS Dry Pods, so you don’t need to remove it while in use or storage. I hope it helps you stay organized, too!

After making a few models in Tinkercad, and my obsession with organization, I decided to try my hand at some “real” modeling with Shapr3d to create spool tags for the Bambu spools. I was inspired by my recent switch from my own shelf labeling system, to Kevin's “Filament Shelf & Swatch Display System,” found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/759390?from=search#profileId-693894 . I wanted something that would be easily/quickly printable, show off the filament, and that could be swapped out.

This custom-designed spool clip label dock fits perfectly into the base of the AMS system, keeping your spool clips secure and making it easy to identify your spools while printing. Its versatile design accommodates some of the most practical spool clip options from the Makerworld community. If you’re like me and haven’t yet settled on a single spool tagging system, this dock is the perfect solution. It keeps your labels neat, organized, and adaptable - no matter which tagging system you use!

I recently uploaded my own design of what I think is the ultimate modular spool to have in your arsenal. This is especially true for the AMS. You can use pretty much any spool using friction to keep it together and not have retraction issues. Just need to print up two sides, an insert for whichever manufacturer spool you need, and either use the recommended desiccant holder or bolts and inserts to get that friction fit. It's also meant to be able to change those not often used colors by swapping them out using zip ties. Has a spot for RFID tags (incase you want to reuse them) and locations for adding filament holders (recommend only on right hand side of AMS).
