Introduction
Designed after a request from a friend and a need to find something to print with the new Rosewood Wood PLA and the Gold Silk+ PLA filaments from Bambu that I had. I kept the box as simple as possible as the real star of the show is “The one true ring!”
Features & Highlights
Introducing the ultimate treasure for every Middle-earth enthusiast: the exquisitely crafted Lord of the Rings ring, nestled in a stunning ring box that perfectly captures the essence of the Shire! This isn't just any ring; it's a symbol of power, adventure, and timeless friendship. The ring boasts intricate elvish engravings that shimmer with a mystical glow, reminiscent of the One Ring itself. The accompanying ring box is designed to resemble a simple wooden box, something a Hobbit would craft. Whether you’re on a quest to rule all of Middle-earth or simply want to add a touch of magic to your jewellery collection, this set is a must-have for any true fan!
Model Details
Assembly is pretty straight forward. For the hinge just cut a 42mm of the 1mm steel rod and then thread it through the hole. Stick the jewellery box sponge to the box with a small amount of glue. For the ring I had a friend electroplate mine to give that mirror like effect on the ring. Or you could always paint the ring with some good quality gold spray paint, but if neither of these are a suitable option then you could always purchase a replica ring on places like AliExpress, Temu or Etsy.
UPDATE 18/01/25: Updated a couple of the parts due to issues with them when printing with AMS.
