You know, those CR2032 or similar button or coin sized battery doors that require a small tool, coin or other object to twist open? Using a metal object can often damage the plastic door slot.
Let's fight plastic with plastic!
Try this tool first, if it doesn't work for some reason because the door is too tight, then you can go for your pocket and dig out a coin to try.
Oh wait, most people pay with their phones and no longer carry coins!
You need this tool!
There are four sides to the tool, each has a different popular size.
These are patterned after US coin sizes as often used for battery doors or will be a close enough fitment to the slot in your battery door. There is also a square drive, if the door has a flat slot instead of curved coin edge slot.
Try this tool first, before you damage the plastic edge of your battery door. If the door is on overly tight, then you can go to your toolbox to try a metal tool or see if there is a coin laying around somewhere for you to use.
I printed this in PLA, or you can use PETG or almost any other filament. It prints quickly and easily!
