New Version Added!!

This 3D-printable crossing tweezer is meticulously engineered for the precise manipulation of screws and other minuscule components. Its innovative design ensures the tweezer automatically clamps securely onto a screw, eliminating the need for constant pressure. To release, simply compress the handles.
Ideally suited for discerning DIY enthusiasts, model makers, and electronics aficionados frequently working with screws or delicate parts. The model is straightforward to print and necessitates no supplementary components. We welcome your feedback and encourage customization to perfectly align with your requirements.

I printed the tweezers with PETG, and the result is superb! The tip is quite flexible yet sturdy!

Nice little print - prints quickly, and supports come off cleanly and easily. It will have its uses. I'm not sure how you'd do it, but maybe work on getting a tighter close after the first squeeze? That may be asking a bit for a 3d print though, I realise.

My impression is that you can achieve a tighter fit if you 1) make sure everything is super-cool before deplating 2) initially separate the tip not by squeezing the tweezers but by vertically displacing the tip and crossover Even so they close less well over time, at least printed in PLA+. But it's a very clean design, quick and easy print, and it makes sense to experiment with other materials.
