Updates

2025.01.17 — Adjusted the print profile to improve thread compatibility and ensure a better fit.

2025.01.18 — Added an additional print profile for stronger and more durable bit heads, at the cost of increased material usage. Recommended if planning to print with PLA.

Use of item

The version shown in these photos was printed using PLA, as it served as a prototype to test functionality and is working perfectly, but for extended or more demanding use, please consider printing it with a more durable material, such as PETG or ABS.

 

Extra Guide Bits

This kit features guide bits ranging in size from 3mm to 10mm, making them suitable for most general applications. For higher precision and better durability a steel guide will also perfectly work in the thread (M14x1.5)

Printed out lovely I used a plate super tack plate. made my own adjustments in the app very easy to print. printed in PETG. i’m going to be using this to build a bed so looking forward to using it and locating the holes correctly to save any mess Ups. I will post some other pictures if I remember while using it. thanks mate. Much appreciated.

The A1 print using PLA is good, only the threads won't screw together, I'll try recutting them with a tap and die

Thank you for your feedback! May I ask if you made any adjustments to the print profile? It’s interesting because I tested the model twice on my P1 printer, and the threads fit perfectly in both cases. That said, I’ll work on a new version with looser tolerances for the threads and upload it as an additional print profile as soon as I can. *(The edit has been made to the print profile to ensure better fit for threads. If you want to test it out, only the big center piece needs to be reprinted)*

Using a Bambu Mini printer, "Stronger Bit Heads" shows the following at 6 o'clock. It prints most of the circle, then finishes it in 2 steps. It does this for about the first 6 layers or so. Showing first layer in slicer
