Lacking a commercially available viper with an articulated jaw, I was frequently asked by children at craft fairs, “Why doesn’t this snake open its mouth? Do you have one that does?”

Thus, this open-mouthed serpent was born, and I'm sharing it here for your printing pleasure, fulfilling the wishes of young enthusiasts.

The model boasts a smooth, robust construction, resistant to breakage, making it ideal for handling.

The model’s eye sockets accommodate 6mm and 8mm diameter realistic animal eyes.

I consistently encounter adhesion issues at the same location, approximately ten layers from the end of each print. One filament even snapped, measuring about 30 centimeters long. What could be causing this?

The filament may have absorbed moisture, resulting in some oozing or stringing, causing the model to stick slightly. Try drying the filament

I created a negative cylinder through the spine just above the join, then added cob led with button battery in mouth.

What happened to this file? I used to be able to print this where the head was on a ball joint and I could turn the head just right so that the snake would “stand” on its own. Other than that this print is amazing!
