120mm fan cover with the rotating shutter. This fan cower is very low profile, it's only 4.5mm thick, and it can be easily opened or closed when that is needed. You can use the small tab on the side of the shutter to rotate it 45 degrees in order to open or close the fan cover.
I've included 2 versions of the shutter, one with short and one with extended tab. Short tab is completely hidden when the shutter is in open or closed position. Extended tab is a little bit longer and easier to manipulate. You only need to print one of these two. Also I recommend to print the shutter in a different color from the fan cover, that way it will be easier to tell when the cover is closed.
Important warning:
If you place this cover in front of the fan always make sure that the fan cover is open if the fan is running, otherwise you may damage the fan because the airflow is completely cut off.
Assembly is fairly simple just snap the shutter onto the fan cover. Just pay attention to the orientation of the shutter, side that was on the build plate needs to be pointed away from the fan cover.
Distance between the mounting holes is 105mm, so it can be attached anywhere you can mount 120mm PC fan. You can use standard M5x10mm self-tapping case fan screws to attach it.
