Description

When I was making my first clicky – the edamame peapod – the idea of an egg clicky jumped out at me. But why have an egg when you can have a deviled egg instead? And why not add horns and make a devil egg?

You'll need to purchase some “clicky” keyswitches which are cheap and easy to find at amazon, adafruit, microcenter, etc. Then just put it together like so:

If your keyswitch isn't moving freely after you attach it to the 3D-printed stem, just reorient the whole switch by 90 degrees.

Red Version with Horns
Printed so easy and clean, and went right together with the clicker mechanism.

I can’t find my comment but I’m so upset. Either the connectors break while taking off the supports or while putting on the clicker. I got 5 out of 21 eggs to work. Am I doing something wrong? Before I rate I’d figured I’d ask. I wasted a lot of time and some filament.

I had this problem and I just turned off supports. They worked fine after that.

Replying to @adamgs1981 :
not for me, they still broke. I change the inside to a more sturdy piece to get them to work.

I'm in love with this print. I didn't have red filament but I love the play on deviled eggs and think the yellow is a fun take.

Strength Issue:I keep printing over and over trying to get yolks because I already printed 22 whites but the centers keep breaking.

gave a bunch to the people who tell dad jokes at work ... but a comment from a recipient made me realize that it wouldn't be much to turn it into a poop in a toilet

Glad you and your co-workers like them! I had a similar thought about the poop in a toilet. I might even need to create an optional "mini plunger" accessory too. LOL
