A very quickly printed model that is a lot of fun.

Print all the parts and then put the weapon parts together. If the spring sticks, you just have to pull on it a little.

Do NOT use support!

Important: For the best performance, use a strong filament so that the spring is stronger.

If the glider does not fly very well try a lighter FIlament, e.g. Bambu PLA Aero or ASA. (ABS also works better).

Nice model, well designed but unfortunately, the jet doesn't fly very far... so might be improved? Thank you! :-)

This is a REALLY cool IDEA but sadly it just doesn't work. Prints well and fast, easy to put together... doesn't stay together while using (cocking or shooting tends to split the gun apart) and most important, the plane doesn't fly. I would LOVE this model if it actually worked. It needs a more aerodynamic and better-engineered plane, and ideally a launcher design that can handle the stresses of cocking and firing without splitting at the seams.

Print it with PETG. When printed with PLA, it’s completely unusable. Even with PETG, it’s still very low powered but it works. The plane is also barely able to fly even when thrown using PLA. It does work, but now well. I wouldn’t advise buying AERO filament just for this either.

Printy quality was great! Although they don’t launch very far lol but playing with different filaments you might find one that works better for the launcher. I think a more balanced glider would help too.
