Collection of metric bolts, available in sizes from M6 to M16, with multiple lengths.
Reinforced by standard wood screw
By curiosity I’ve conducted strength tests to evaluate maximum torque and tensile strength,
I've tested M10 bolt.
Bolt 1 (4 walls, 30% infill):
Maximum torque: 2,1 Nm
Tensile strength: ~49 kg
Bolt 2 (100% infill):
Maximum torque: 3,5 Nm
Tensile strength: not tested
Bolt 3 with 4mm wood screw (4 walls, 30% infill):
Maximum torque: 4,7 Nm
Tensile strength: over 100 kg (test limited by a 100 kg scale; bolt remained intact)
Note: These bolts, of course, can also be used without reinforcement screws.
These bolts have been calibrated for my Qidi Q1 Pro 3D printer. All sizes thread onto a steel nut with minimal resistance, ensuring a reliable fit.
If you experience any issues with fitment, I recommend slightly scaling the model in the X and Y axes while keeping the Z axis unchanged. This adjustment should help adapt the model to your printer's tolerances.
