For those asking if this bat signal (as well as all the other bat signals on Makerworld) can project the bat signal, they cannot! The type and power of the light source aren't the problem as some have suggested. You will not be able to get a projection without a convex lens and the correct focal point. You would also need to have the bat signal inverted and between the light source and the lens. Just look up how any projection TV works, Hacksmith has a great YouTube video showing the science behind how you actually project an image like the bat signal. The bat signals in the movies actually defy the laws of physics and are not possible as they are shown in the films.

Nice! Still not technically projecting the image but rather casting a shadow (there is a distinct difference). That being said the effect is very cool! Good job!

You're absolutely right! In the movies, what is actually projected is a shadow of the Bat-Signal, not an image like a traditional projector. It's a visual effect used to give it that distinctive and mysterious touch. In that sense, the model we've designed stays true to that cinematic concept.

amazing design, fast and smooth finish print, easy to assemble and no problems at all. I tried the lamp and of course would work as a night light lamp next to bed, as a filling light on the side of the room, thank you so much for the design!!
