Description

Edit 01/13/25: I added new print profiles (and STL's) for a version without supports and moved the L/R letters out of the gusset to the main vertical.

Do you have this Husky shelf with the oddball key hole for shelf placement? If so, then this hook will work for you!

I've created a Left version (vertical is on the left as viewing the shelf) and Right version (vertical on the right as viewing the shelf) to make it easier to print 1 or the other. The 3MF file includes both on a plate, so delete the one you don't want. I've included individual STL files for you to grab instead.

I used trees to support the gusset on the plate side. It doesn't look pretty once it's removed but it's still functional. If you have a better suggestion, please let me know.

I'm using this to hang some back packs off the side of my shelf to get them off the shelf and off the floor. I used PLA to print them and they seem to be holding up.

I can't guarantee how much weight they can support but they should work for fairly tame applications. If you test it out, please let me know out of curiosity.

Printed easily enough and seems to do the job. Only annoyance is that the hooks are held in place largely by gravity, and their fit's a little loose in the frame. So, when removing items, sometimes the hooks come off with them. Not a deal-breaker but it happens enough that it keeps me from going 5 stars.

Thanks for the feedback. Not sure if a double sided tape would be a way to keep it in place or adding a magnet hole in the back? The geometry of the hole will make it tough to go with a tighter fit. I can experiment with it and let you know if I come up with something better.

The magnet idea is interesting, let me poke at it some and see if it keeps things in place better. > The geometry of the hole will make it tough to go with a tighter fit. I was looking at that and saw the same. Wondering if that could be used to help? The whole system seems to prefer a really tight fit but, with plastic, that might not be as desirable.

I added a retention clip and shrank the gap by .2mm for a tighter fit. Quick test showed it holds on better but please let me know your thoughts and I can adjust it from there.

Work well, for the medium duty Husky shelf.
