Description

Hello! This drawer is modeled after the black SNES/64 cartridge drawers from the 1990's I saw as a kid. This version can hold 16x N64 games and has raised lettering on the logo. Largest piece dimensions are 221 x 275 x 97 mm

-The assembly is made of 6 different files and 12 pieces total (7x copies of the pegs are needed).

-Sanding will be needed for the best fits possible, as well as the smoothest sliding possible. Sanding shouldn't be needed for the pegs.

-Use superglue for the pegs and lettering. I recommend also using glue where the bottom plate meets the main body, as well as the handle where it meets the tray.
-5x recesses are located underneath the bottom plate for 10mm diameter adhesive rubber pads. These keep the whole drawer assembly from moving while using the drawer.

This is my first complete functional model I designed as a new 3D modeler! I have plans to make a revision that allows for magnetic inserts or a rail bump to help the drawer keep shut, and to allow for stacking with multiple other drawers.

thank you for this! the front plate had some drooping at the little ridge sections for me, so I actually cut it into two pieces so I could print laying flat. but, I'm very happy with how it came out

Thanks for trying it out! I'm glad it came out looking well and I hope it works for you. How were the pegs fitting into the hexagon holes? I made a slight tweak to them after my initial build because they were too loose.

I would say they fit very well. Tight fit, felt it secured things well. I added glue to them before putting them in

had a bit of stringing on the front plate and some alignment issues with the drawers, but it’s still came out awesom. decided to make it a multi color case and will be adding a Nintendo 64 logo on top. great overall design.

This design is top notch! My wife and I are so happy with these as we are trying to tidy up our little collection of games. I printed them in each of the N64 logo colors. If you ever decide to design other cartridge drawers for the NES, SNES or Sega, I'll be the first to print them! These are great! Kudos and thank you :)

is it possible to get the front door flat without the little slats in it? I can’t get it to print without spaghetti issues using PETG, but only on the slats. The rest of it prints perfect.
