Description

The Filament Storage Vault is an essential accessory for 3D printing enthusiasts. Designed to keep your filaments in optimal condition, this box protects them from moisture and dust, ensuring consistent print quality.

A dedicated slot in the middle holds a silica gel container, further enhancing moisture control.

Equipped with a rectangular hygrometer slot, you can easily monitor the humidity levels inside the box, ensuring your filaments stay dry and ready for use.

With a three-catch locking system and a TPU seal, the Filament Dry Box remains completely airtight, preventing any external air from affecting your filaments.

The box requires six M3x30 hex bolts for assembly, ensuring a sturdy and secure setup. Additionally, the label can be easily customized in Bambu Studio, allowing you to personalize your filament storage solution and keep your workspace organized and efficient.

The robust design ensures longevity and reliability, making it a valuable addition to any 3D printing setup. Perfect for both beginners and experienced users, the Filament Dry Box offers a reliable solution for maintaining filament quality and improving print results.

The Filament Dry Box can be printed using a variety of materials, including PLA, PETG, and ABS, making it versatile and accessible. You can color-code the boxes for different filament types or projects, and use up almost finished rolls of filament if you don't mind a mix-and-match appearance.

The box features nice rounded corners for a sleek look. It's engineered to sit up square when stacked vertically, maximizing your storage space and keeping your workspace organized.

These are brilliant!! Do you have files for a two spool and a three spool vault?

No, I do not. I will get round to it in the next few days. Can you give me the overall inside sizes you would like?

Oh wow! That’s so awesome. Seems like your one spool vault is 80mm in height on the inside.. hopefully if my calculations are correct, a twin spool vault looks like 150mm and a triple spool vault is 210mm.

Does this use the exact same height/width TPU “gasket” as your original one (the single spool one without the hydrometer)? And, the exact same dimension clips? I am asking because with the original one I got a very satisfying click/clasp. But, when I printed this revised one with the rectangle hydrometer I am not getting that. I am using a TPU from the original model print as well as 3 clips from the original model. I am curious to know if using either of these “old” parts were modified ever so slightly and causing this to be a slightly looser fit (if they did change dimensions of course the “solution” is I just go and print new ones from this file).

Actually, it is not a perfect caliper measurement, but it does seem like the center center to center screw hole placement may be slightly different from the original one. I believe that may be the root change here. But, if the TPU gasket width changed to cause this, let me know and I can just print a new gasket to fix it. Otherwise, potentially ever so slightly increasing the gap between the center point of the two screw holes by about 0.24 mm or a bit more (again please double check me here) may make this as tight fitting as your original model.

The latches on the og one are 0.7mm longer, but the seals art the same dimentions. I never noticed, i'll change that as soon as i get a chance.
