Case to store 100 rounds of 9mm or 50 rounds of 5.56 ammo.
I modeled this box after a real ammo crate to give it a cool aesthetic. The box inside dimensions were modeled to fit the biggest ammo container straight from the box I have come across which is Blazer ammo. All other brand ammo containers should fit, but check below dimensions to ensure the containers fit. I designed it this way so that ammo could be moved straight into the crate from their original packaging, allowing for less wasted material and saving the hassle of transferring all ammo by hand. The box is also thick enough that it could take a minor impact and not break open. Keep in mind ammo is heavy, however, so no matter how thick the box is, if dropped from large heights it could chip or break off pieces.
This case is a friction fit design so no extra parts will be needed to hold the case shut. Just press it shut, and it will stay closed until you pull it apart again. It can fit 100 rounds of 9mm or 50 rounds of 5.56 and once closed the ammo will not move around in the box.
Outside dimensions are approximately: 156mm x 86mm x 75mm
Inside dimensions are approximately: 140mm x 70mm x 65mm
