Description

Electric Marble Lift V4a – Endless Motion, Simplified!

Take your marble runs to the next level with the Electric Marble Lift V4a! This upgraded version makes continuous fun easier than ever by transporting marbles back to the top for uninterrupted action.

Based on feedback from the community, the V4a is a streamlined upgrade to the original V4 lift. With a reduced number of parts and simplified assembly, this version is faster and easier to build. Now requiring just 10 parts + 12 pins, the V4a ensures that creating your lift is a breeze!

Key Features:

  • Simplified Design: The V4a improves on the V4 by reducing complexity and cutting down the number of parts needed.
  • Motor Compatibility: Supports both N20 and N30 motors, with separate plates for each option.
  • USB Power Convenience: Power the lift with a USB cable and switch, allowing you to use a power bank or adapter and easily control it with a simple toggle.
  • Adjustable Exit Heights: Standing 225mm tall, the lift includes multiple exit points spaced every 30mm for maximum flexibility in your marble run designs.

Whether you’re building from scratch or upgrading an existing setup, the V4a brings effortless automation and endless fun to your marble runs.

Print it, assemble it, and let the marbles roll forever!

Thanks for the great design! To simplify things, the pins could be integrated into the top of the ‘motorbase’ and ‘high/mid/low-exit’ parts. For better bed adhesion, a bottom layer to close the hole in the high/mid/low-exit parts would be an advantage To centre the coil at the top, I created a centring clip with F360

thanks, but the problem of having the pins already attached will be that they will break on the layer lines. so printing them flat makes them stronger and last longer

I used the version for the A1 mini (split coil). Superb fit! My print modifications: * Base split into two print beds: lower and upper. Lower printed as specified. Upper: Columns positioned closer together, so the brims combine into one large brim => more stable print on the A1 mini (bed slinger). * Pins printed at a reduced speed, as they kept detaching. Motor still missing - therefore assembly only indicated :)

I already planned to print the V4 for this weekend, but luckily i discovered the V4a 2 days ago. Smooth printing and easy to assemble. Many thanks for this great design. I have choosen a N20 6V 50RPM motor and a 4xAA battery box with a switch, which brings more action into the marble run and is more easy to integrate in any Gravitrax structure and hight level. @JDOsolutions Are the parts from the V4 compatible with the V4a ?

yes the parts are compatible since it’s basically the same design. I only combined some of the parts to make it print with less parts 👍

Hello @JDOsolutions The model looks fantastic and I would love to print it for my daughter Unfortunately I only have an A1 mini—the large spiral coil is too tall for it Would it be possible for you to offer it in two stackable parts so that printing it on an A1 mini would be feasible That would be incredibly kind Best regards Sascha

I've added two extra profiles for the A1 mini - one with AMS and one without. Enjoy the lift! And please post a make, I'd love to see how they turned out :)
