Description

Don't want to use your precious SKADIS board space for something large like a pair of magnifiers? Well use this off-board side extension with any SCADIS hook to hang something off the left or right side of your SKADIS board.

You'll need your own hook; any SKADIS hook that uses one hole will do.

Uses the T-Clip system developed by Line Arc Line to quickly and securely fasten to your SKADIS board without any additional hardware. Two t-clips are included on the plate. See https://www.printables.com/model/256896-skadis-t-clip-system.

Model Updates:

Jan 18/24 - Redesigned T-Clips to be vertical to eliminate sagging.

Jan 5/24 - improved strength and added a part to prevent the bracket from sagging.

New Version: Works much better now! Thanks for the update :) The hook is much more solid and using the "glue in place"-part, the hook won't sag down as much as before. (Picture updated with new version) Old Version: the Hook itself is very week, since it only as a few layers (or in this case walls). a stronger Hook would be better. also having something a little bit more heavy (ca. 200g) hanging on it, the hook will move. not sure how this can be improved.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to improve the strength and stability.

I try to think about a solution too ... But using T-Plugs I think is one of the problems here. Using the fixed hooks, you could add little elevations to fixate the print orientation inside the holes. Using T-Hooks, maybe there is a way to add inserts into the holes? The right hole needs support in the upper part, while the left one in the lower part. Like added in red in the picture. Also: I added a picture showing the part of the hook, which is very weak/flexible.

Will be posting an update shortly. I have a solution to the movement; it's not perfect but should work well for most users. I put a heavy battery on it and it moved a bit, see pic. Involves gluing a part :( I'll try your idea too before uploading.
