Description

UPDATE!! New version available with added features and better fitment!! Go check it out!! https://makerworld.com/en/models/1036010?from=search#profileId-1019841

I couldn't find an arm blaster for Dummy 13, so I made one! It's very simple in design and snaps on in place of a hand. It is directional as there is a flat on the inside of the receptacle that should line up with the flat on the ball joint of the “wrist” where the hand would connect, and it does require a fair amount of force to get the ball past the keeper nubs that hold the blaster in position on the arm, but once it's on it should be nice and stable! The print profile is multicolor for AMS, but can be printed in a single color without AMS with no issues. Hope you like it, please share pics if you print and let me know if there are any issues or ideas for improvements! Cheers!

Super awesome Mech Helmet courtesy of @user_3143458084, be sure to jump over and give it a boost too! You can find it along with the matching suit here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/897931#profileId-856365

THANKS user_3143458084!!!

UPDATE 01/07/25 - I wasn't happy with how loose and sloppy the blaster fit on Dummy 13's arm, so I re-built the locking features to get a more snug and secure fit. I like the new version much better, and hope you do too!

This hand is so annoying!!!
Step 1: Remove pesky hand.
Step 2: Actually why not go all the way up to the elbow? I mean, you're already this far…
Step 3: Re-attach the “bone” - need something to graft onto…
Final: Success! Who needs to be able to open doors when you can just blast your way through them!! This might mean trouble for pizza night though…
Shiny shiny shiny….

I like how you used my mech suit's helmet in the picture, but can you say where you found it in the description?

Oh, I completely understand. I just saw this model and thought it was so cool. My initial reaction was, "why didn't I think of that." Truly genius idea.

It looks great but it doesn’t fit on my dummy 13 but it was probably from the dummy I chose overall I WOULD RECOMEND.

It should fit but it is snug and does take a bit of force to install, make sure the flat on the ball joint of the “wrist” is lined up with the flat edge in the blaster before trying to press it in

It’s kind of hard to fit the blaster onto the frame, but it looks great

I’m confused, the English translation doesn’t make any sense… was there something wrong with the print profile? Why the low rating?

Good feedback, I appreciate it, and you're not the first to let me know trust me. I've been racking my brain on how to make it easier to get on while still fitting well and not having to modify the Dummy 13 structure, but unfortunately there don't seem to be a lot of good options... anyways, thanks again for the rating and feedback, glad you like it, and I'll keep working on a better fit!
