Description

Hello everyone, with this model I tried to recreate a rose that manages to bloom. As for the stem you will have to glue the screw to the stem then insert the cone nut and finally the leaves at the base of the rose, to complete everything screw the petals in all three layers together it will be much simpler than screwing one layer at a time. Thank you!!

I've noticed several comments that talk about the screw being too tight and people not being able to screw the body of the rose onto the stem well, most likely due to the different filaments used. Personally I used Polyterra Forrest Green filament from Polymaker. A solution could be to only scale the screw to 97%.

scaled down the threaded green rod to 97% so the threading worked better 👍

Beautiful! scored some much needed wife points with this one😂Anyone having trouble with threads, I found it was due to the brim causing the first thread to be slightly large. I just shaved the first couple threads with a knife and it works perfect.

The threaded part broke several times, so I finally reduced the scale to 97%, as someone else suggested, and set the infill to 100%, thus preventing it from breaking

I would recommend supports for the tips of the green leaves, otherwise a very successful model.

Beautiful. Like someone suggested, I've printed the stem and the screw at 100% infill - didn't need to reduce the size.

Truly beautiful! I also had problems with the female thread despite reducing the screw to 97%, I solved it by carefully chamfering the tip of the "screw" and the ends of the "nut", then I passed an 8-diameter drill bit, pressing it slightly to file the internal threads
