A boost would be greatly appreciated!

I used these Magnets from Amazon: https://amzn.to/3BQmz6m (you need 16) in combination with some cyanoacrylate based glue like https://amzn.to/3BTesWv or https://amzn.to/4gTlV6I, but other magnets with a 6mm x 2.75 mm form factor should work*

You have to be very careful about the polarity, which side of the magnet goes in, so that the box sections will attract and not repel.

* Please note that I linked a 6x3mm magnet from Amazon, this is intentional as upon measuring them, they seem to actually be about 2.75mm thick.

Filament used on the pictures is PLA Silk Dual Color by Bambulab in color combination Blue Hawaii (Blue-Green).

I printed the lid twice with Blue colored PLA-CF and then again grey PLA (did not print rest of the box as lid failed) . Both times the magnet holes were filled with PLA and there is no space to install magnets. Also there appears to he a problem with one corner (left upper when looking from top). For some reason the way the "rounding" is designed it is causing problems with printing or warping. I am using the textured PEI plate on Carbon X1and have never had an issue.

Regarding the filled holes, that's just support which should be easily removable to make room for your magnets.

Thanks for replying but the magnet "supports" cannot be removed (they appear are "printed in" with a small outline giving impression that they can be removed). Also, for whatever reason the way the corners are designed they are not printing well. If you click on the image you will see how the corners are printing. Thanks for your help.

I had similar issues printing the lid today...I was able to get the support out of the magnet holes, but it took a lot of effort and digging. And the edges/corners look the same as yours. Trying a second print right now with some slight modifications to the settings, so we'll see how it goes.

Love the box except one detail. for some reason, 12 magnets fit perfectly but in the bottom box component, the 4 holes are too small for the magnets

That's unfortunate, you should be able to fit them in with little pressure. In case that won't work, you could warm it up a little and it should go in smoothly.

Thanks! Yes I was able to do that with a hair dryer. I did warp it a tiny bit by grabbing the sides a little too roughly when I warmed it up. Lesson learned. I'll prob reprint this component. Thank you for the print!

Another solution I've used is to just take a drill and make the hole a little bigger when I need to, just if it happens again in the future 😄

This is a very nice box. Really liked the text detail. First time using magnets, definitely messed up the first ones 😂 I opted to print in one color and painting the letters myself (I did scratch the surface while filing unfortunately 😭 be careful if you attempt it) Very nice project even for a beginner like myself 😌

This looks great! Think you could create a Wyrmspan variant? 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Would changing the text on the top suffice? Or does it need extra storage slots as well?

Just the text on the top, also to match the text of the game if possible

Please see https://makerworld.com/en/models/947000 for a REMIXED Wyrmspan variant. I'd really appreciate it if you could give it a Boost.

I had issues with the corners lifting, but I'm going to guess it was my old filament. Once I locked it down with more brims, it came out great!

This was great. Printed really nicely. My only quibble is that the magnet holes were the tiniest bit too big for my 6x3 magnets, but nothing a little glue couldn't take care of.

I encountered a few printing issues, otherwise a truly beautiful box
